In March, 2021, Chinatelecom Jiangmen branch successfully improved the communication signal tower on mangzhou Island, realizing the coverage of telecommunication signals across the island. In combination with the annual weather conditions in the island, the project also plans to adopt the form of complementary hydrogen and light, and use solar energy to assist hydrogen power generation. There are many islands in China, but due to the geographical location and other problems, the city power can not be introduced normally, resulting in many islands can not be effectively developed. In order to solve the problem of power supply, many islands try to use solar energy, wind energy and tidal energy. However, the power obtained from this part is still faced with many problems, such as instability and the durability of energy storage batteries. The mangzhou Island project plans to adopt hydrogen light complementary power generation. Hydrogen can output stable and sustainable power through the hydrogen fuel cell power generation system. Methanol, as the optimal carrier of hydrogen, can be stored in the fuel tank for a long time, and the power generation cost can be minimized by taking advantage of the sunshine advantage in the island and combining the solar energy. Hydrogen power generation technology will replace the original diesel generator set to solve the pollution problems such as noise and exhaust emission, and greatly reduce the operation and maintenance cost. The implementation of this project will lay a solid foundation for hydrogen energy in China's distributed energy field.
It is reported that Co-Win is a high-tech enterprise focusing on methanol online hydrogen production technology and fuel cell power generation system technology, involving distributed energy, hydrogen energy heavy truck and other fields. In Jiangmen City, it provides main / standby power services for Chinatelecom, China Tower multiple machine rooms and base stations. At present, a demonstration station has been built for the 5g smart hydrogen island construction project on mangzhou island to provide 24-hour stable and efficient power supply for the village committee and communication base stations on mangzhou island.
